A Hawaiian Luau birthday was the event, and I was tasked with baking some fun and beachy - themed cupcakes for this cutie pie's 10TH birthday over the weekend. I was really excited to do these because its not often you get to choose the decor aannddd flavor ! I kept with the theme on this one, and made the Pineapple Crush cupcake. This cupcake is a buttery,yellow cake, filled with crushed pineapples, and topped with a vanilla bean butter cream frosting that has a tiny hint of fruity flavor. These were alot of fun to make! Kids are the toughest customers, but I am happy to report that both birthday girl and mommy were very pleased.
